AbstractThe research presented is part of an R&D+i project entitled “The progression of prospective primary teachers’ didactic knowledge in a research-based course and in interaction with innovative science teaching”* carried out in three Spanish universities. For this course, a set of educational resources was elaborated and presented as a workbook which outlines the different elements that must be taken into account to create a proposal for classroom teaching – what to teach, the pupils’ ideas, how to teach, and what, how, and when to evaluate.
