AbstractA matrix is called strictly sign regular if for each k all its k×k minors are nonzero and have the same sign. We study several decompositions of strictly sign regular matrices, including QR decomposition, Schur decomposition, SVD and symmetric-triangular decomposition. Several characterizations are provided
