Vascular normalization is an emerging concept in cancer treatment. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Rolny et al. show that histidine-rich glycoprotein normalizes tumor vessels and promotes antitumor immunity by polarizing tumor-associated macrophages, leading to decreased tumor growth and metastasis.
