AbstractPurposeStandard polysomnography (PSG) typically utilizes 4–6 channels of electroencephalography (EEG), which is inadequate to evaluate focal epileptiform activity. Though technical capability has long existed for more extensive EEG recording, few sleep laboratories have utilized this technique.
