AbstractThe new clinical entity, known as aorto-iliac atherosclerosis obliterans or aorto-iliac occlusive disease (AIOD), is one of the most frequent clinical problems confronted by vascular surgeons today. Digital subtraction angiography is considered the gold standard technique in assessment of these arteries.
