We have previously demonstrated that peripheral blood mononuclear cells from patients with Sézary syndrome, the leukemic form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma which is accompanied by erythroderma and lymphadenopathy, have a Th2 cell cytokine [interleukin 4 (IL-4) and interleukin 5] production pattern.
