AbstractThe objectives of the first study of the paper was finding teachers’ opinion regarding selection criteria for didactic methods as well as establishing the weight that active-participative methods have in the teaching-learning process. The results of the study show that for the teachers from “Mathematics and sciences” curriculum, the above mentioned methods do not represent a priority. The objectives of the second study were experimenting some active-participative strategies and establishing their efficiency in the study of Physics. The results confirm the fact that using active-participative methods can lead to a significant increase of efficiency in studying Physics
