Umeå Psychological Reports, No. 83, 1975. - The subjects' confidence in the correctness of their judgments was investigated in a two-cue MCPL-experiment, where the cue-criterion correlations,as well as the sign and magnitude of the intercorrelation between the cues were systematically varied. The results showed that even though the subjects' performance was influenced by the task parameters, their confidence was not.
