AbstractIn this study, the effects of the computer aided concept cartoons on learning outcomes in science and technology education are explored. For this, computer aided concept cartoons were used in 4th grade science and technology class, in “Classification of Living Things” subject, and effects of concept cartoons on academic achievement, and misconceptions are tried to be understood. The study is held with 4th grade students in an elementary school which is placed in İzmir. Experimental group and the control group were determined randomly. Pre-tests and post-tests were applied for both groups. Interviews about concepts to determine students’ misconceptions are also done by researchers.
