AbstractPiezoelectric (PZT) actuator is a device based on counter piezoelectric effect, applying a voltage to it creates a displacement, and vibrating it generates a voltage. PZT actuator is a controllable and perfect micro-displacement actuator that is driven by electric field. PZT actuator has a very high-speed response, a small volume, a little quantity of heat and a relatively light mass. The excellent performance of PZT actuator makes it have considerable potential in the area of active control. This paper describes the application in active engine mount mainly. The simulation result show that the active PZT engine mount has a very good isolation performance, and can reduce around 80% vibration, and act very well at both lower and high...
