AbstractIn this present work, we study the flow, heat and mass transfer characteristics of an electrically conducting, incompressible and viscous fluid past a stretching porous medium. The governing partial differential equations of the flow were transformed to a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations by using similarity transformation. The system of non- linear equations is solved by using an efficient numerical technique known as Keller Box method. The effects of radiation parameter, chemical reaction parameter, thermophoresis parameter and Brownian motion parameter on longitudinal velocity, dimensionless transverse velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number in the flo...
