Background/PurposeTo better understand the result of radical cystectomy in the treatment of bladder cancer, we analyzed our data and reported the oncological outcomes and survival predictors.MethodsPatients underwent radical cystectomy for bladder transitional cell carcinoma between March 1995 and July 2007 were evaluated. The clinical course, pathological characteristics, and clinical outcomes were described and analyzed.ResultsA total of 148 patients (98 men and 50 women) with a median age of 66.7 years (range: 23.8–83.3) were included in the study.
