EL CONCEPTO DE RIESGO EN LAS TEORÍAS DE ULRICH BECK Y NIKLAS LUHMANN

ResumenSin lugar a dudas, el concepto de riesgo es una de las principales herramientas teóricas de las que dispone la Sociología contemporánea para dar cuenta de las dinámicas propias de la sociedad moderna. Entre los autores que se dedicaron a pensar teóricamente el concepto de riesgo destacan Ulrich Beck y Niklas Luhmann. El presente artículo expone, analiza y compara las reflexiones que en torno a esta temática llevaron a cabo dichos autores. El artículo finaliza esbozando la posibilidad de complementar las ideas de ambos autores.AbstractUndoubtedly, the concept of risk is one of the main theoretical tools available to contemporary sociology to account for the dynamics of modern society. Among the authors devoted to think of risk from a theoretical point of view, Ulrich Beck and Niklas Luhmann stand out. This paper presents, analyzes and compares the reflec- tions on the subject of risk made by these authors. The article concludes by outli- ning the possibility of complementing the ideas of both authors
