AbstractOBJECTIVESThe goal of this study was to evaluate the relative effects of hyperglycemia and hyperinsulinemia on postprandial remnant lipoprotein (RLP) concentrations in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetics.BACKGROUNDIncreases in fasting RLP concentration have been described in type 2 diabetics, as well as in insulin-resistant nondiabetics.
