Therefore, 595 consecutive patients with successful elective balloon coronary angioplasty (PTCA) for de novo lesions were divided into 3 groups according to the percent diameter stenosis (DS) immediately after PTCA. They were group A = DS < 15% (n=129), group B=15%≤DS≤35% (n=356), and group C=35% < DS < 50% (n=105).
