AbstractThroughout the time a special attention was given to children, especially to the children in need. In Romania during the transition from the comunist period, a lot of changes occured in the social system and even more were made during the process of adherence to European Union. The changes in the social system involved changes in the architectural programs and in the educational system. Romania had a real problem with the children in need and even if important changes were made, the street children and children from poor families are still an important issue in nowadays. More than 25,5% of Romanian children are living in poverty, the percentage is the highest of all 35 countries member of European Union, and in 2011 in Romania there...
