AbstractThis paper reports on a study carried out to validate the employability skills (ES) measurement model for engineering students. A total of 280 respondents were involved in this research. Data were analyzed descriptively for reliability (Cronbach Alpha values) and confirmatory factor analysis was utilized in order to find measurement models for each of the constructs using AMOS software. The results showed that the Cronbach Alpha on the classification was higher than 0.70. The results of the first and second order CFA confirmed that data collected fit with model. Thus, the measurement model was suitable to be used to study the employability skills acquired by engineering students in the context of education in Malaysia
