IntroductionObstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is associated with a range of cardiovascular diseases and increase cardiovascular mortality.AimThe aim of this study was to compare the clinical and angiographic characteristics of patients admitted for acute coronary syndromes (ACS) with and without OSAHS.MethodsWe examined the apnea hypopnea index (AHI) using polygraphy (PG) in 60 consecutive patients with ACS who underwent coronary angiography. OSAHS was defined by AHI≥5 events per hour. The Friesinger score was calculated for each patient from the coronary angiography.ResultsThe average age of patients was 59.73 years±10.1 years.
