AbstractThe performance of CMS detector during LHC Run 1 is presented. Excellent results regarding the CMS detector triggering capabilities and its performance for tracking and vertexing, particle identification, reconstruction and energy measurement, as well as jet and E̸→T reconstruction have been obtained. Planned detector improvements for next LHC running period are also discussed
