AbstractThe article describes the importance of performance-based fire protection design and makes use of flair module of PHOENICS simulating the flow of fire smoke in atrium. The related distribution temperature pressure and concentration of smoke are worked out. With the development of computer simulation technology, PHOENICS will be used widely and performance-based fire protection technology will be constantly mature
