AbstractThis study aims to study the relationship between the social skills of 5-6- year- old children and parental behaviors. The sampling of the study consisted of 70 children at the age of five-six attending to the kindergartens, their parents and teachers in Burdur. Data was evaluated for 64 children. The data of the study was collected; through teacher form of “Social Skills Scale (SSS)”, sub-scale of “Social Skills Rating System and “Parental Self-Behavior Rating Scale” (PSBRS)” and “Personal Information Form” and “General Information Form” comprising demographic information concerning children and their parents.
