AbstractIntroduction: Extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis (XDR-TB) is defined as a form of multidrug-resis-tant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) with additional resistance to fluoroquinolones and at least one of the injectable drugs used in tuberculosis treatment: amikacin, kanamycin and capreomycin.
