AbstractThe demand of global investments in renewable energy projects requires a deep understanding of various risks faced by the utility and project developers. This paper analyzes risk variables between different actors of supply chain and identifies problems encountered in wind power projects through public procurement procedure. The authors were involved in a wind power project obtained through a structured process achieved in stages: research, development and final implementation of a wind power. The analysis of the issues reported by literature combined with the application of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) tries to eliminate risk factors in wind power supply chain
