AbstractConsiderable progress has been made in small animal single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging in the field of Parkinson's disease. In preclinical research, there is an increasing demand for in vivo imaging techniques to apply to animal models. Here, we report the first protocol for dopamine transporter (DAT) SPECT in common marmosets using the radioligand 123I-N-ω-fluoropropyl-2β-carbomethoxy-3β-{4-iodophenyl}nortropane (123I-FP-CIT).
