AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the scientific process skills of teacher candidates who will be teaching Science, and to define how their skills vary depending on the level of their classes and branch. The participants of the research are 125 teacher candidates currently studying at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Buca Education. Survey model is applied and the data is obtained via the “scientific process skills test”. According to the data obtained it is concluded that the scientific process skills of teacher candidates are found to be at a medium level, and that there is not a meaningful difference amongst branches in terms of scientific processes.
