AbstractReliable and affordable electricity is one of the biggest problems in Cambodia. Only 24% of the population has an access to electricity while the others suffer from insufficient electricity supply. This paper shows the current situation in Cambodian electricity facilities and offers rice husk gasification systems as an option for electricity generation. In this paper rice husk gasification system has been inspired by Batt Daeng Electrification Company in Kampoung Speu province in Cambodia.
