We were fortunate to be able to visit the United States of America in the summer months of 1952 to see some of the treatment of poliomyelitis there. We spent most of our time at the Chi1dren's Medical Centre, Boston, and the Warm Springs Foundation, Georgia, and it is our intention to give our impression of the treatment in these centres
