AbstractRecent results from cryo-electron microscopy have shown that substantial structural rearrangements in both elongation factor EF-G and the ribosome occur during tRNA translocation. The observed sites of interaction between EF-G and the ribosome are consistent with molecular mimicry models for EF-G function
