AbstractObjectives. This study was designed to determine whether arterial baroreflex control of blood pressure is altered in patients with congestive heart failure.Background. Arterial baroreceptor reflexes normally contribute to cardiovascular homeostasis by preserving blood pressure during changes in volume and posture.Methods.
