AbstractOBJECTIVESTo assess the clinical course of patients who have undergone coronary stent placement less than six weeks before noncardiac surgery.BACKGROUNDSurgical and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty revascularization performed before high-risk noncardiac surgery is expected to reduce perioperative cardiac morbidity and mortality.
