AbstractWe introduce a new class of L-functions associated with algebraic number fields which includes classical L-functions with Größencharacters (due to E. Hecke) as well as so-called scalar products of classical L-functions (probably due to Ю. в. yjиччик and studied by A.и.BиЧoгpaqLoqv and yj.з. Mopoз) Furthermore we show that these new L-functions (which are defined and seen holomorphic at least in the halfplane Re(s) > 1) have a meromorphic continuation into the entire right halfplane
