AbstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of coping strategies training the irrational beliefs (cognitive approach) on test anxiety of students in one graders of high school. The sample includes 60 students who were selected randomly, according to a multistage sampling method. They were then randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The design of the study was of pretest-posttest control group type. Instrument used in this study was Ahvaz Test Anxiety Inventory and after and before intervention administrated to both groups.
