AbstractObjectivesThis study was designed to test a rapid protocol of intravenous acetylcysteine for prevention of radiocontrast-induced nephropathy (RCIN).BackgroundOral acetylcysteine (NAC) may provide better prophylaxis against RCIN than intravenous (IV) hydration alone.
