AbstractThe aim of this study is to provide the modeling and exact analytic solutions for hydromagnetic oscillatory rotating flows of an incompressible Burgers’ fluid bounded by a plate. The governing time-dependent equation for the Burgers’ fluid is different from those based on the Navier-Stokes’ equation. The entire system is assumed to rotate about an axis normal to the plate. The governing equations for this investigation are solved analytically for two physical problems. The solutions for the three cases when the angular velocity is two times greater than the frequency of oscillation or it is smaller than the frequency or it is equal to the frequency (resonant case) are discussed in second problem.
