AbstractThe dynamic anti-plane problem for a functionally graded piezoelectric strip containing a periodic array of parallel cracks, which are perpendicular to the boundary, is considered. Integral transforms techniques are employed to reduce the problem to the solution of singular integral equations. Numerical results are presented to show the influences of geometry, electromechanical combination factor and material gradient parameter on the fracture behavior
