AbstractWhen treating oily wastewater, fibrous coalescer technology has the advantages of convenient operation, longer service period of coalescence materials, high oil removal efficiency, without additional reagent, high ability in value maintenance of recovered oil, thus has attracted increased interests in recent years. Extensive research has been done to investigate the theoretical oil-removal mechanism, and lots of works have been conducted to explore the application of fibrous coalescer in the treatment of various refractory wastewaters, especially oily wastewater.
