AbstractIn Paraguay, the pseudo stem of the banana tree is cut and broken after fruit annually, deposited in growing area for weathering. The wide availability of these pseudo stem transforms them into a potential source of raw material for processing into pulp for paper, justifying a preliminary screen of your paper ability.The fresh pseudo stems were subjected to a process for separating the fibrous material, dried in the atmosphere and the material obtained was stored until use.
