The process of nuclear excitation at the positron-atomic electron annihilation was considered. It is offered a new definition for the part of positrons, which excite nuclei at the annihilation. As result, it is proposed a new interpretation of the experimental data on cross section for this process in case of positron beam with wide energy distribution, if we compare them with the theoretical calculations
