AbstractLearner performance is an important source of data for evaluating Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) programs and the factor that has the most influence on language-learning outcomes is a positive attitude. Therefore, the relationship between attitudes toward Computer Assisted English Language Learning (CAELL) and their performance on the English language vocabulary were investigated in this study. The attitudes of 30 Iranian postgraduate students in a Malaysian university toward CAELL were assessed via questionnaires and the effects of CALL on their performance were assessed by using vocabulary tests.
