AbstractIn this note, we present a result on the saturation of sequences of linear shape preserving operators. Specifically, we deal with a sequence Ln of almost convex operators of order k — 1 satisfying an asymptotic formula, and find the trivial class in the saturation problem of the kth derivative of Ln. An application to the well-known modified Meyer-König and Zeller operators is also shown
