AbstractProtein interaction domains (PIDs) such as the SH2 and SH3 domains are known to drive protein:protein interactions by binding to linear peptides. Screens of peptide arrays and combinatorial peptide libraries have been used to identify the peptide sequences recognized by a given PID. Two reports in this issue of Chemistry & Biology describe a new method for the synthesis of these peptide arrays and illustrate the utility of peptide ligands
