Abstract

Pelargonium tripalmatum E.M. Marais is described as a new species. It is a tuberous species, belonging to the section Hoarea (Sweet) DC. The tripalmately compound lamina is a unique leaf shape for section Hoarea. The pollen morphology and the leaf anatomy are described, An illustration of the species and a distribution map are provided
