Aim: The aim of this study is to survey multiple relationships between the initial maladaptive schemas and the attachment styles in desiring to get divorced. Methods: For this purpose, a sample size of 330 married people of Isfahan city who were attended to the counseling clinic for the purpose of solving communication problems with their partners were selected by convenience sampling method. The required information was collected with the questionnaire of desire to divorce (DTS) of Rusbult, Johnson, and Morrow (1986) and the questionnaire of attachment styles of Hazan and Shaver.
