AbstractElectrical fault is caused by over current, which is created by a variety of reasons, and makes loss and fever increase, further it will cause short circuit. On the basis of this essence, this paper reclassifies short circuit melted mark types. And builds a short circuit experiment platform to carry on simulation experiment based on the new classification system, and then the appearance and metallographic structure of the different melted marks are observed and analyzed in order to establish melted mark image system and offer reference for electrical fire material evidence
