AbstractAim of workThe aim of our work was to detect any structural or functional visual defects during and in between the attacks in patients with migraine.Patient and methodsSixty patients with migraine as well as sixty age and sex matched controls were included. All cases were subjected to full ophthalmological examination. Cases with any previously known optic nerve abnormalities or with history of increased intraocular pressure were excluded from this study. A full threshold 24-2 automated perimetry as well as optical coherence tomography (OCT) were performed for retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness.
