Several groups of drugs are available including tjr tricyclic antidepresives, dual antidepresives, neuromodulators, anticonvulsivants, lidocaine, systemic or in patch, and some opioids that can be used to control severe pain. The management of neuropathic pain is based in a multimodal therapy and a multidisciplinary team, very important if the pain is extremely difficult to contol
