AbstractObjective: Occlusive arterial disease is usually irregular with both symmetric (concentric) and asymmetric (eccentric) stenoses. Knowledge of the effect of stenosis geometry on stenosis haemodynamics is necessary to correctly interpret tests that measure stenosis severity anatomically.
