Salutary role for angiotensin in partial urinary tract obstruction.BackgroundIn the neonatal period, angiotensin II (Ang II) is up-regulated and induces a timely development of the renal pelvis and ureteral peristalsis, thereby protecting the kidney from hydronephrosis.
