AbstractInhibition of the accumulation of amyloid β-peptide (Aβ) and the formation of β-amyloid fibrils (fAβ) from Aβ, as well as the destabilization of preformed fAβ in the CNS would be attractive therapeutic targets for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD).
