AbstractObesity is now considered a major problem plaguing the country because most Malaysians are obese. Various factors cause obesity. This quasi-experimental study aims to look at the effectiveness of a Physical Activity programme on obese pupils of SJK (T) Barathi, Hutan Melintang for 8 weeks. The respondents are 40 pupils with 20 male and 20 female respondents. Omron Krada Scan Body Composition Monitor HBF-375 was used as an instrument to measure the level of BMI among respondents. National Service physical activity manual was adapted to run in this 8 weeks programme. Descriptive analysis showed that the obesity level of the respondents reduced obviously.
